The manga The Saga of Tanya the Evil concludes its 'first part'

The September issue of Kadokawa 's Monthly Comp Ace Chika Tojo 's manga adaptation Carlo Zen and Shinobu Shinotsuki novel The Saga of Tanya the Evil (Youjo Senki) will conclude its "first part" in the next issue in August 2020.

Synopsis

The story revolves around a young girl fighting on the front lines of the war. She has blue eyes, blonde hair, almost translucent white skin, and flies through the air to mercilessly take down her enemies. Her name is Tanya Degurechov, she has the voice of a young girl, and she is in command of the army. Tanya used to be an elite agent in Japan, but because of God's wrath, she was reborn as a girl. Tanya prioritizes the optimization and advancement of her military career above all else, and wants to become the most dangerous entity among the Imperial Army's sorcerers.

Tojo launched The Saga of Tanya the Evil in Monthly Comp Ace in 2016. The manga currently has 19 volumes.

Zen and Shinotsuki launched the novel in 2013, with 13 volumes to date. The 12-episode anime adaptation premiered in January 2017. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired. The anime also received a film in February 2019, with the same staff and cast.
